KAREN TRENTON
Karen Trenton is the senior vice president of human resources at Sherritt International Corporation.
Trenton has over 20 years of experience in the areas of organizational and leadership development. Prior
to joining Sherritt, she worked as a Human Resources leader at Coca-Cola Enterprises for 14 years
and prior to that at Imperial Oil Limited. She is a graduate from the Mount Royal University Public
Relations and Journalism program and the Rotman Human Resources program. She is a member of
the Human Resources Professional Association and serves as a director on the board for Canadian
